What is the time limit and amount to which I am entitled to receive SINOT benefits?

The law establishes weekly benefits between $12.00 and $113.00 for workers who are not part of the agriculture industry. For farmworkers, the benefits vary from $12.00 to $55.00 per week. This benefit may be received for a term of 26 weeks, provided you have medical evidence in support of said disability.

Death benefit (SINOT) provides death benefits of up to $4,000.00. This benefit will be paid to the insured worker’s dependents.

The claimant shall submit proof of dependency through the application and requested documents. They will be sent to the Department of Labor, and this agency will determine who are dependents of the insured worker.
