When can an individual start to receive the amount accumulated in their IRA account?

An individual may start receiving the amount accumulated in their IRA on or before the age of sixty (60) without penalties from the Department of Treasury. However, said distribution must start no later than the year on which the taxpayer reaches 75 years of age. There is no mandatory age to distribute the funds from a non-deductible IRA (Popular Roth IRA).
