What is SINOT?

Law 139 is a requirement for companies with more than two employees. Its objective is to pay benefits, thus offering additional protection to those who have lost their income due to temporary incapacity caused by injury, illness, non-work-related accident, or a car accident.

This insurance covers all workers including agricultural ones. However, it is voluntary for employees of state, federal, municipal governments, and non-profit institutions.
